An electric shock occurs when an electric current passes through the body, potentially causing harm to both internal and external tissues and even organ damage.

-While shocks from household appliances are usually less severe, they can escalate if a child chews on an electric cord or puts their mouth on an outlet. Several factors influence the severity of an electric shock:

-Symptoms of Electric Shock :

The symptoms of an electric shock vary based on its severity and type here are the most knowen ones :

°Loss of Consciousness.

°Muscle Spasms.

°Numbness or Tingling.

°Breathing Problems.

°Headaches.

°Vision or Hearing Issues.

°Burns.

°Seizures.

°Irregular Heartbeat.

Additionally, electric shocks can lead to compartment syndrome, where muscle damage causes swelling in the limbs. This swelling can compress arteries, resulting in serious health complications. Keep an eye on your arms and legs following a shock.

-Immediate Response to Electric Shock :

°If You’ve Been Shocked: 

first thing you must to think about is to Let Go , release the electric source immediately.
and call for Help ,If possible, call  local emergency services If not, ask someone nearby to call,
and try to avoid Movement by staying still unless you need to move away from the electric source.

Not to forget also to mention Minor Shock, even if you don’t have noticeable symptoms, see a doctor promptly. Internal injuries may not be immediately apparent. 




°If Someone Else Has Been Shocked :

Rule number one is Do Not Touch , avoid touching someone still in contact with the electricity source otherwise both of you will face a serious and danger situation .
What you need to do in this case is to ensure safety by keeping yourself safe while assisting the person and seek Help by calling for medical assistance.




At the end always keep in mind , electric shocks can have long-term effects, so seeking medical evaluation is crucial. Prevention, awareness, and prompt action are essential in minimizing the impact of electric shocks.
